Brimstone 0.2.1 - Hot fix for *nix

It turned out that in 0.2 there was a permissions bug that meant that on *nix the database file wasn’t created properly. This release fixes that problem.

If you are a Linux/BSD/etc user then you should get this version. If you have already installed 0.2 and are getting the database error then you should do the following:

  • Uninstall 0.2
  • Find your firefox profile directory
  • Remove the folder brimstonedata
  • Install 0.2.1

If you are a Mac OS X user, it is quite possible that you will also be affected by this issue.

If you haven’t installed 0.2 then you don’t have to worry. Just get the lastest version and all should be good.

Why is it I have digit grouping for Brimstone in my office but not on my laptop. Much easier to read with digit grouping. Netscape also does not have digit grouping.

I’m not sure what you mean. If you could give more detail as to what you mean by digit grouping and where and when you expect it I might be able to help.

If you could create a new thread at http://www.xuluwarrior.com/forum/ that would be best place to start things off.
