BallBoy
Follow Wimbledon 2009 while browsing in Firefox
When I have time I will actually create a proper website explaining BallBoy but for
now you can download the latest release of the extension from
here.
Please note that for now my extension is merely a wrapper for the official
Wimbledon Widget.
That doesn't make my extension official in anyway.
Each year I think about writing an extension that gets all the game/player information and keeps
you up to date as the games go on. However, as Wimbledon only lasts 2 weeks I never get around to it.
By taking advantage of the Wimbledon Widget at least I can get something vaguely useful out to people.
Well I find it useful, even if nobody else does. :P
Install
BallBoy 0.3
Updating BallBoy
Once BallBoy is installed you can update it to the latest version using the Firefox update service.
To do this simply:
- From the menu bar select Tools -> Addons
- On the Addons screen click "Find Updates"
- If there are new updates available Firefox will tell you and you can click "Install Updates" to install them
Usage
- Install the above extension.
- A new icon will appear in your status bar (bottom right of Firefox)
- Click the icon to show BallBoy
- Click the icon again to close BallBoy
